Yes, that’s not just any plain ol’ silvered dial looking worse for wear as Omega has taken on the winter theme to create a frosted pattern on the metal which was laser-engraved. While the Winter Games isn’t explicitly expressed on the dial work, Omega has made it a point to honour the occasion by including a three-dimensional logo of the Beijing 2022 event on the closed case back. Though not a limited edition, this timekeeper does have some added significance. It marks a period of time that people from all corners of the world are uniting and seeking solace in normalcy. Now, wouldn’t that make a great backstory to tell the kids?
