Have you seen a pair in this lifetime before? Most probably. But that’s because this silhouette has become the cornerstone of sneaker comfort since your dad bought his first pair of kicks to slip into after he tosses aside the work shoes. Now, if you’re shuddering at the thought that this chunky soles share the same taste levels as dad, hold on for a good minute. The letters CD on the side tells you what you need to know about its make, a Christian Dior blessed construction that knows better than having cheap materials threaded together. In this case, microfibre and mesh are put together with other technical materials to ensure that flexibility and lightness remain true to this silhouette. That means if you hatch plans to do some light running in these, you can for reasons we probably won’t understand. And there’s one more thing about that CD logo and lining of these runners, they’re reflective which means under club lights they will put on quite a show (watch the vid below for a demo). Pick from a few colourways to match your flex: black, white, olive, beige, and lime. They’re already in stores as we speak so go ham and get a few.
