Let’s be honest, we all need a sense of perspective and calm right this moment, something that a good massage and bubble bath would probably help soothe but it’s easier said than done if you’re always on the move. Some might even recommend a visit to a Japanese Zen garden, but finding one at a moment’s notice might just add to the agitation. Bvlgari’s secret weapon to restore calm and order might be as simple of a fix as staring into the dial of this wristwatch (no, for real). First created in 2019, Bvlgari teamed up with iconic Japanese architect Tadao Ando to create a dial design for the Octo Finissimo that is strikingly similar to the raked concentric circles of the aforementioned garden. No surprises that those limited editions instantly became hot property. Now, Bvlgari is launching another version in the series with Ando, a different colourway that champions similar good vibes. Fashioned in blue lacquer, the new version also boasts a yellow gold crescent at 5 o’clock that resembles a moon in the night sky – perhaps to indicate that you’re not alone in this world. Limited to 160 pieces.
