There’s been a general consensus that 2020 sucks. Your life plans have been upended because of the pandemic and you’re spending your nice clothing budget on staples that you’ve already got plenty of. Listen, even fashion brands get it but some are also giving you a chance to turn those life’s lemons into lemonade. Diesel is one of those fashion labels choosing to see the silver lining by launching a denim series cheekily called Unforgettable Denim. It has tapped on your need for renewing your well-worn staples – in this case denim jeans – with a special customisable patch that aims to cleanse the bad energy brought upon by 2020. Wearers are urged to pick a cancelled event and Diesel will print it on the leather patch located at the back of the jeans as a metaphor that you have seen the back of this missed event. While this doesn’t promise to extinguish the bad juju – or make up for missing the birth of your child – it might put a smile on your face that at least you survived 2020 and got a damn rad pair of denims out of it.
