Ever seen a watch unlike any other, yet it feels so familiar too? If we didn’t know any better, Chanel has been secretly training the fashion set for decades to operate this timekeeper. Well, hear us out. This bracelet watch, that was first unveiled in 2017, features a special twist clasp between the lacquered dial that allows the wearer to hide or reveal the time by simply turning the clasp 90 degrees in the appropriate direction. The clasp design has been loaned from the hardware of Chanel’s most iconic quilted leather flap bag, the 2.55, which means many discerning women around the world already understand its mechanics. Now, that’s one smart watch.
