Launch new wares, call Hugh Jackman. This successful formula was once again tapped by Montblanc – they have The Greatest Showman as its long-time ambassador – when it brought new travel-friendly gadgets to the fore (though to be fair, these products require little endorsement to appeal to new owners). For the first time, Montblanc unveiled spiffy wireless headphones in the MB 01 as well as a much-needed update on its smartwatch swerve in the Summit 2+ when it hosted guests at the historic World of McIntosh Townhouse located in SoHo. The location was transformed into one of the night’s hottest party venues in New York City with sunlit mood lighting and beautiful people. Special areas in the venue were created to test the sound quality and noise-cancellation characteristics of the headphones – DJ Pamela Tick’s roaring soundtrack didn’t miss a beat – allowing anyone to rest comfortably on replicas of biz class-level seats whilst doing so. The MB 01 is now available and the Summit 2+ will be launched in May.
