While others are dropping collaborations quicker than we can keep up, Persol has largely kept to itself in the last half a century. But don’t discount it as being a lone wolf; it was just waiting for the right creative partner. Enter the eccentric Jean Touitou and A.P.C. – the designer known for giving Kanye West his first big-time fashion collab in 2013 as well as famously declaring that he was done with such partnerships too, which essentially makes this Persol news somewhat of a miracle. This three-piece unisex offering based on the iconic 649 model is available in three contrasting gradient lenses and acetate hues: white, green, and brown. The sunnies are priced at US$370 each.
