It was the summer of 1992, where the stadiums were filled to the T across a bumbling Barcelona. You could hear the crowds roaring with delight as top-tier athletes across the world gathered in one place to represent their countries proudly. While that sort of Olympic spirit and atmosphere can't quite exactly be encapsulated, it can most certainly be celebrated. Which is why Ralph Lauren is launching the next iteration of its iconic Stadium collection: Indigo Stadium. Featuring some signature Stadium silhouettes including a windbreaker jacket with tear-away track pants, a P-Wing fleece indigo-dyed fleece and denim-inspired long bill hat, each piece showcases the original Polo Stadium and P-Wing graphics from the '92 collection. But the main difference comes from the streetwear-esque indigo dye to match the current fashion landscape of denim hype while still paying its '92 tribute with a vintage bleach finish. Besides its tribute to the Summer Games, it's also the kind of well-thought out streetwear-sportwear hybrid that can let you go from workplace fit to your Herculean effort of a nightly 1-mile run as quickly and effortlessly as Usain Bolt on a track. The Indigo Stadium capsule will be available in a limited distribution at the end of September, via the Polo App, at select Opening Ceremony, as well as select global Polo Ralph Lauren flagship stores and select retail partners.
