There is no doubt that Virgil Abloh has brought his own spin to the house of Louis Vuitton. For the Men’s spring-summer 2019 campaign shot by Raimond Wouda and dubbed “School Teens,” it is an examination and reflection of the transition from boyhood into adulthood. A modern take on the “schuttersstukken” of the Dutch Baroque, the images were taken around schools in Los Angeles and spotlights the interaction between groups: the feeling of wanting to belong but at the same time, the need for individuality. The students in the campaign are seen wearing bold colored T-shirt uniforms and are accessorized in the latest backpacks, crossbody bags, trainers and more. Check out the images above and shop the items via Louis Vuitton’s website now.
