So, the holidays are nearly upon us and you’re – for a lack of a better phrase – just wanting to lie down and take a breather. (No, we don’t mean metaphorically.) What you want to do this holiday season is to physically prop yourself on a beach chair somewhere, whether it is at the ends of your geographical land mass or somewhere more glitzy like the Maldives. But what’s a relaxing holiday if you don’t have the right tools to get you in the mood: a good book, sunblock, an Instagram-friendly bathing suit, sunnies, flip-flops, and maybe a nice tote bag to carry all of it with you. What you’re likely to forget is a beach towel – the unsung hero of beach holiday tools. That’s because a beach towel allows you to sit anywhere you please (even on a moss-covered rock), dry you down after that heroic swim in the sea, cool your body and block the heat in place of carrying around a crazy big beach brolly, and just perhaps be your SOS flag (touch wood). Although you might squirm on this idea of carrying another XL item in your luggage and rather pick any crummy ol’ beach towel from your hotel, think of the idea this towel you might be using has been wiping down a thousand bodies before yours. So, why not invest in one if the beach or even the local pool is your downtime retreat? Trust us, others will be eyeing the way you coolly unpack this Christian Dior version from your beach bag and even fashion insiders will note that it features those cool Riviera-like stripes that were a big part of the Parisian fashion house's cruise 2019 runway. And yes, yours would be the only one rocking tassles, baby!
