Just before the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeonChang gets underway in February, Omega too had their own dress reherseal for the Games via the Olympia Bob Run in St. Moritz, Switzerland. The Swiss watchmaker, whose role in the Winter Games is that of the official timekeeper, invited a select group of guests to experience the icy thrill ride known as bobsleighing. They were driven in a taxi bob from the top to the bottom of the 1,722 metre track, which first opened in 1904 and is the oldest bobsleigh track in the world and the only one that is natural refrigerated. Joining Omega CEO Raynald Aeschlimann were entertainment personalities such as Cody Simpson, Pixie Lott, Oliver Cheshire, Baptiste Lecaplain, and Manon Azem, just to name a few.
