If you’ve been keeping tabs on Berluti – because you know who makes some of the finest leather shoes in the world – then you know they make ready-to-wear and accessories that are right up the alley of boss. But what about Berluti bangles? You’ve probably never heard of them. That’s because these are the first of its kind from the brand and it is designed by Parisian jeweller Charlotte Chesnais, one of the brightest sparks in the design game today. Though an outsider is behind the design, the overall aesthetic and vibe aren’t departures from their usual creative pillars either: a calfskin leather insert paying homage to its bread and butter and a structured body, in this case, a palladium-finished silver with an inner Scritto motif engraving reminiscent of those expressed on their shoes and bags. The subtlety is on-point as usual, made for a man with slick moves and nothing to prove.
