You know these loosely interpreted steampunk-esque sunnies because any big-timer – from Kendall Jenner to Rihanna – has had these shading their profile for the last couple of years. In other words, their fetch factor is on a high, to an extent you don’t even have to wear them for others to think you’re flaunting some A-lister-level kind of cool. Rest it on the table when you’re having a cuppa or even hook it onto your V-neck tee on the move and it’ll still have others taking second glances just because. Seeing how it’s made, however, will make you appreciate them even more than any cheap ass discount frames you’ve been eyeing. What’s more Dior wants you to be the co-designer: letting you pick and choose how you want them to look, much like a bartender consulting on your cocktail preferences too. There are six levels of customisations here: lenses, eyebrows, metal, temples, nosepads, and engraving. Well, go on to pick one… any sunnies after this pair might seem like a compromise.
